Professional development and consulting

For almost two decades, the Writing in Science Approach has been helping teachers learn how to scaffold their instruction so that students meet and exceed standards in what are now articulated in STEM education, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the Common Core State Standards in English/Language Arts.

The Writing in Science Approach is supported by research and has been successfully implemented in Seattle Public Schools and in other districts across the nation.
